Dairy/Plant Permits

•Dairy Farm Permit Fees are based on gallons produced per day. The fees start at $75.00 for a dairy producing 1,000 gallons per day and go up to $150.00 if production exceeds 3,000 gallons per day.

•Milk Plant Permit Fees are based on gallons produced per day. The fees start at $150.00 per year and go up to $500.00 per year for a plant producing over 10,000 gallons per day.

•Dairy Foods Manufacturing Plant Permit Fees are based on square footage. The fees start at $150.00 for a facility under 1,000 square feet and go up to $280.00 for a facility over 5,000 square feet.

•Single Service Plant Permit Fees are $115.00

New facilities are required to submit construction plans for review. The plan review fee is $200.00 plus an amount equal to the fee for an annual permit. Existing facilities that are remodeling must also submit construction plans. The plan review fee is $50.00 plus an amount equal to one-half of the fee for an annual permit.
